Today's Appointment

We had an appointment with the fetal cardiologist today. All looks great and normal! He has a strong heart. So we have gotten great news. We decided to see if Dr. Klugh was available. He is the neurosurgeon we saw from Balboa Naval Hospital last week, but he was only able to see 4 pictures from our MRI. We wanted him to see the full report. This doctor has been SO wonderful! He is so straight-forward and really explains things to us. We makes sure we understand everything before we leave. Fortunately, he was available, so we were able to examine the MRI pictures with him. He said some really uplifting things. He said that the chances of our baby being normal after the shunt surgery was very likely and the chances of him having other problems was very unlikely. Dr. Klugh also said that he was giving us th ebest possible news he could give us...this baby is a blessing. We are so happy and relieved! We see Dr. Levy tomorrow morning at Rady's Children's Hospital. Hopefully he concurs! :)
